The Detering Company Office, Warehouse & Manufacturing Facility
New 107,000 SF pre-engineered metal building with masonry office.

The Detering Co., a family-owned and operated building materials company, decided to relocate to a facility that would consolidate office, woodshop & warehouse areas. The office exterior design was inspired by the old Houston Broom Factory owned by the Detering Concrete Tile Company since the 1880s. The facade was clad with St. Joe brick and the iconacally orange D’Hanis brick, both supplied by The Detering Co.

The Warehouse incorporated High-pile storage with specialty racking designed for efficiencies in product inventory & organization. The woodshop is spacious with a state-of-the-art dust collection system.
